The third night of the Triq Cinemoon Festival on Thursday focuses on the theme of running away.

This unusual festival, in its fourth year, asks its prospective audience to pick the films that are screened, with the general theme this summer being ‘In Motion’.

The films proposed for this week are: Tucker & Dale vs Evil, a 2010 Canadian comedy horror film written and directed by Eli Craig about a pair of well-meaning hillbillies (played by Tyler Labine and Alan Tudyk) who are mistaken for killers by a group of clueless college students; the critically acclaimed Moonrise Kingdom, a 2012 coming-of-age film by celebrated US director Wes Anderson, written by him together with Roman Coppola; and British-American documentary The Imposter (2012) directed by newcomer Bart Layton about the 1997 case of the French confidence trickster Frédéric Bourdin who impersonated Nicholas Barclay, a Texas boy who disappeared at the age of 13 in 1994.
