CAMILLERI. On August 18, at Mater Dei Hospital, RITCHIE, fondly known as Coxswain, a most beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Gusta, his daughter Angela and her husband Paul Borg Barthet, his grandsons Christopher and his wife Christina, Simon and his fiancée Sarah, Thomas and his fiancée Marie, his great-grandchildren Jacques and Cora, his in-laws Mary Piscopo and Sylvia and her husband Alan Jones, his nephews, nieces, many relatives and friends. The funeral Mass will be celebrated tomorrow, Saturday, August 20 at 9.30am at Sacro Cuor parish church, Sliema, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. CHETCUTI. On August 18, at St Vincent de Paul residence, EVELYN of Ħamrun, widow of Dr Francis Chetcuti, former director of education, aged 86, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Michael and his wife Patricia residing in France, Peter and his partner Elizabeth residing in the USA, and Valerie, her grandchildren Marc, Louise, Cedric, Daniella, Myles, Jessica and Julia, her brother and sisters, Joe, widower of Lucy, Agnes, widow of Joseph, Ġemma, widow of George, and Jessie, widow of her brother Victor, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves St Vincent de Paul residence on Monday, August 22 at 1.15pm for St Dominic’s church, Rabat, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 1.45pm, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

CIANTAR. On August 16, at St Vincent de Paul Residence, IVY, née Santucci, a most beloved wife, mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband Lawrence, her children Arthur and wife Anita, Rosanne and husband Martin Pirotta, Marilou, and Lawrence and wife Janet, her grandchildren Stephanie, Jessica, Alison, Julian and Martina, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. The funeral cortège leaves St Vincent de Paul residence tomorrow, Saturday, August 20 at 8am for Pope Pius X parish church, Santa Luċija, where Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated at 8.30am, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest. GRIFFITHS. On August 17, at her residence in Sliema, ROSE, widow of Joseph Henry, before reaching the venerable age of 104, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Doreen, widow of Roland Darmanin Kissaun, Tony and Roma, James and Tanya, Gerald and Jan, and Maryse, her brother Anthony Agius, her grandchildren Michele and Marco, Greta and Loris, Mark and Becky, Karryn, Gillian and Tyron, Peter and Petra, Paul and Hayley, Claudia and Dom, Henry Scicluna, her 14 beloved great-grandchildren, her many nephews and nieces and friends. She also leaves to mourn her loss her beloved carer Luzviminda Hermoso. The funeral leaves her residence on Monday, August 22 at 8.30am for Jesus of Nazareth parish church, Sliema, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 9am, followed by interment in the family chapel at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. MIFSUD. On August 17, at Sir Anthony Mamo Oncology Hospital, our beloved GINO MARIO, aged 45, went to meet the Risen Lord, comforted by the rites of Holy Church and surrounded by his family and friends. He will always be loved and remembered by his mother Catherine, his brother Henry and his wife Miriam, his sister Rita and her husband Francis Spiteri, as well as his nephews Jean-Pierre and his partner Lorraine, Andrè, Joseph Henri, Etienne and his wife Andreea, Neville and his wife Chantelle, his grandniece Amber and grandnephew Denzel, family and friends. The funeral leaves the Mortuary at Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow Saturday, August 20 at 8am for the Holy Trinity parish church, Marsa, where Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated at 8.30am, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. The family would appreciate if, instead of flowers, donations in his name be sent to the Community Chest Fund. The family would also like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff of the Oncology Male Ward 2, for their care and dedication. His life was short but he lived well and was loved by all who were fortunate enough to meet him. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

MIFSUD. On August 18, JOSEPHINE (Ġuża) née Ellul, of Brisbane, Australia, formerly of Paola, passed away peacefully. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband Frank, her sons Philip and Michael, her brother Charlie Ellul and their respective families in Brisbane. In Malta, she leaves to mourn her loss her brother Emanuel Ellul and his wife Rose, their children Sandra and Mario and their families, other relatives and friends both in Australia and Malta. The funeral service will be held in Brisbane. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

COST CHRETIEN – GLORIA, née Farrugia, on her seventh anniversary. Never forgotten by her husband Noel and family.

FALZON – FRANCIS. In loving memory of a dear father and grandfather, today being the 29th anniversary of his demise. MALLIA – RONALD. Today his sixth anniversary. Loved and treasured by his wife Gladys, children and family. Mass for the repose of his soul will be said today at 7pm at St Julian’s parish church.

PACE – EDITH. Remembering a very dear mother with love and affection, especially today the fourth anniversary of her meeting with the Lord. Her daughter Joan and her husband David, and grandsons Zachary, Bernie and Jonathan.

PACE – EDITH-ANNE, née Borg. Cherished memories of a dear mother and nanna, today the fourth anniversary of her passing away. Mother you will always be in our heart...because in there you’re still alive. Her daughters Roxanne, Erika and Hector, grandchildren Robert, SJ, Joseph, Marija-Evelina, Veronica-Anne and Edward-Hector. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
