The Barclays English Premier League Season got underway on August 13. First match of the day, at 1.30pm, saw Hull City play against champions Leicester City. What an exciting match, with Hull winning.

Then, on to match two but, unfortunately, there was no choice as to which match to watch because GO Sports are only televising one live, in this case Everton v Tottenham, with the rest being delayed and shown after 6pm.

I settled down to watch the match and, to my dismay, the commentary was in Maltese. I try to switch language because I know there is dual commentary on some matches but I ended up having football with two Maltese commentaries.

What is going on? I am still paying the same fee for Go Sports and now I cannot choose which 4pm match I want to watch and it will have Maltese commentary.

So I decided to go watch the match elsewhere.

I’m afraid that if this is GO Sports’ service of the English Premier League matches, then I will be cancelling my Sports channel subscription.

English Premier League matches should at least have English commentary as an option.
