• The St Mary Fireworks Group of Żebbuġ will be holding the 26th edition of the Ikla Tradizzjonali tal-Festa on Tuesday at 8pm. Entertainment will be provided by the Cini Brothers Band and Johnny Cash & Band. For booking call 9986 6734 or 2155 9568.

• Blood donation will be held at Gozo General Hospital’s Outpatients Department on Tuesday from 1pm until 5pm.

• The birthday of St John Bosco, patron saint of youths and children, will be celebrated at the Don Bosco Oratory in Victoria. On Tuesday evening, Mass will be celebrated at the Don Bosco Oratory chapel at 7pm, followed by a barbecue. Everyone is invited to attend. A special Mass for children will be celebrated on Wednesday at 9am, followed by various activities for children, including a magic show by Mr Remy, a bouncing castle and face painting. All children are invited.

• Assumptafest, an open-air musical concert by Santa Marija Philharmonic Society of Żebbuġ, will be held at Pjazza l-Assunta on Wednesday at 8.30pm. Mro Joseph Grech will direct.

• The 14th Delicata Classic Wine Festival will be held at Ġnien il-Kunsill, Our Lady of Fatima Street, Nadur, on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 7pm.

• The Gozo CCU Foundation will hold a barbecue at the Cornucopia Hotel, Xagħra, on Saturday at 7.30pm to raise money to purchase life-saving equipment. For tickets call Carmen on 7956 6496, Tracy on 9936 1268 or William on 7956 3838.

• A sacred art exhibition, entitled Mater Misericordiae, is on display at Dar Karmni Grima, Għarb, until next Sunday. It is open today from 9am to 12.30pm and Tuesday to Saturday from 9am to 4pm.

• The Brass Tubes will perform at Marsalforn on Thursday from 8.30pm.

• A collective painting, photo-graphy and ceramics art exhibition is on display at the Cittadella Cultural Centre, Victoria, until August 31, between 9am and 3pm.

• An activity portraying life in the early 17th century will be held at the Santa Marija Tower, Comino, on Friday and Saturday. Events, including reenactments by the Compagnia San Michele – Malta, will be organised by Din l-Art Helwa (Gozo) and Comino Volunteers. Use of replica weapons demonstrations will take place on Friday at 7.30pm and on Saturday at 11am. On Friday, the tower will be open to the public until 9pm, while on Saturday it will be open from 10.30am until 6pm.

• The Gozo Philatelic Society has added a new exhibit at Il-Ħaġar museum in St George’s Square, Victoria. The theme is Gran Castello Redux – 75 years of Citadel Philately. It includes the first Citadel stamp issued during King George VI’s reign. Opening hours are daily from 9am to 5pm. Entrance is free.
