One of Fapi Motors’ motorcycle mechanics, Ryan Micallef, attended a week-long training session at the KTM premises in Austria. This course takes place once a year and is an opportunity for international branches of the brand to learn about the latest updates of products.

Representatives were briefed with the changes KTM is implementing in its motorbikes and how to navigate through them in cases where repairs or technical updates are needed.

The training course was spread over five days: the first two consisted of members familiarising themselves with the most recent updates, followed by three days of hands-on experience. Employees got the chance to work with the new ABS systems and transport locks, dealernet and other diagnostic functions across four KTM motorbike models.

“What we have learned on the course is not something you can learn from anywhere else. It was a great experience, whereby a group of people working for KTM got the chance to meet each other and share experiences. It is definitely something I would want to do again in the future,” Mr Micallef said.

Fapi Motors is the official distributor of the KTM brand in Malta. For more information, e-mail info@FapiMotors.com or visit the showroom in Mdina Road, Attard.
