Storytelling sessions are being organised every Thursday through to the month of September at the Simar Nature Reserve in Xemxija.

This free one-hour activity immersed in wonderful natural surroundings is aimed at children aged four to six and their caregivers. Each session features the sharing of stories from books as well as other fun activities. The books chosen for this session all centred around the themeof nature.

The main objectives of the programme are that of promoting a love of books while developing the child’s imagination through fun and stimulating activities. Parents are also made aware of the benefits of sharing books with their children on a daily basis.

The sessions are organised by the National Literacy Agency in collaboration with Malta Libraries and they start at 4.30pm.
