One of Valletta's leading theatres has launched a call for proposals for its 2017 artistic calendar. 

Pjazza Teatru Rjal is urging individuals, theatre, dance or performance companies, cultural entities, private organisations and anyone else interested in putting up a performance to put forward their proposals. 

The theatre will judge applications based on applicants' portfolio, the proposed performance's artistic, educational and social content, its effective use of space and resources, innovation, legacy and the proposed marketing plan. 

Applications must be submitted by Friday 11 November and the necessary documentation is available online.
