Glen Calleja will tonight deliver Iswed (Black), a multimedia presentation about the spectacle of migration and the spectator during the Evenings on Campus festival.

The presentation poses the question: who are the people that the spectator is watching fleeing? Who will they be 10, 20 years in the future? Iswed is about the cosmonauts, the diesel and the boats, about satellite phones and about the lifejackets lost in the darkness.

The poetry reading and story-telling is in Maltese and starts at 9pm in the Dun Karm Monument Pjazzetta of the University of Malta’s Msida Campus.

It is part of the Bodyless project led by Kopin Malta and co-financed by the Arts Council Malta.
