I found a ticket on my windscreen while parked in front of my own garage.

When I looked properly, the reason listed was that I did not display the licence and insurance on my windscreen (which I understood when I lodged a complaint online since the contravention is only in Maltese). The ticket was held in place by the wipers, right on top of the licence/ insurance.

I realised that it was on the right-hand side of the windscreen not to obstruct the visibility of the driver because the steering-wheel is on the left.

Could the wardens be educated and told that if, in Malta, the licence/insurance has to be displayed on the left-hand side it is because the steering wheel is on the right and the highway code stipulates that nothing should be put on the screen to obstruct the driver’s visibility?

Why should anyone have to waste time and energy with such a trifle matter?
