A Dutch tourist received a knockout blow by another Dutch man when he asked whether a woman’s breasts were real or fake, a court heard today.

The alleged incident took place early yesterday in Paceville.

You Kai Smit, 24, was accused of having seriously injured Anthony Joma Rood and pleaded not guilty.

Mr Rood said he had been talking to a group of Dutch people when he spotted three Dutch girls. He asked one of the men whether a particular girl’s breasts were real or not and the next thing he knew was that he regained consciousness at Mater Dei Hospital.  

He denied that he had called the girl a prostitute.

The accused was granted bail under a personal guarantee of €5,000.
