These are the lead stories in today's local newspapers:

The Times of Malta reports that John Bundy is to be made chief of PBS, succeeding Anton Attard.

The Malta Independent writes that Malta has Europe's lowest unemployment rate, and that Tourism Minister Edward Zammit Lewis has claimed that discussions are underway to have three new airlines flying to Malta.

L-Orizzont also reports on news that Malta's unemployment rate is the lowest across the 28 EU member states.

In-Nazzjon writes that the decision to add the visa programme to Chris Cardona's ministerial portfolio was to bring it closer under the control of the Labour Party. Aside from being Economy Minister, Dr Cardona is also the PL's deputy leader.
