The fourth edition of the GO Malta eSports Festival 2016 kicks off today and runs until Sunday at the Mediterranean Conference Centre in Valletta.

This event offers three days of top level local eSports competitions combined with on-stage entertainment and a live audience. Players and visitors are welcome to take part.

This year, there will once again be a dedicated PC Gaming Area, another area totally devoted to console gaming, and a stage area where the most interesting games being played will be featured, along with additional activities running throughout the weekend.

Tournaments to be played include League of Legends, Overwatch, Call of Duty: Black Ops III, FIFA 16, Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft and Rocket League.

Doors open at 3pm today. Entry tickets cost €4.50 for a one-day pass and €7.50 for a three-day pass.
