Times of Malta reports that talks between Air Malta and the pilots' union are back in stalemate. 

l-orizzont headlines a fresh appeal by a patient's wife for the introduction of euthanasia.  

The Malta Independent quotes the Pope saying the world is at war, but it is not a war of religions, but materialism and power.  It also quotes pilots' union president Domenic Azzopardi criticising former President George Abela for taking the shareholders' side in talks with the airline.
