MICALLEF. On July 25, at Mater Dei Hospital, JESSIE of Attard, widow of Leslie, aged 91, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her great loss her children Stephen and his wife Marianne, Yvonne, wife of Victor Ross, Marie, wife of William Ambrogio, Tancred and his wife Antoinette, Bernardette, widow of Charles Vella, Mark and his wife Jacqueline and Matthew, her 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren, her brother Maurice and his wife Agnes, relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Thursday, July 28, at 8.30am for Attard parish church, where Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated at 9am, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. The family would like to thank the staff of Medical Ward 8 for their professional care and dedication. Donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, would be appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
WALKER. On July 2, ELEANOR THERISA ANGEL, aged 33, passed away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her daughter, her mother Josephine, widow of Michael John, her sister Melissa and her husband Sam and their children Freddie and Jessica, her brothers Jack Allen and his girlfriend Sophia, Andy Bob Allen, her sister Beverly and her boyfriend Owen, in-laws, cousins, relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Monday, August 1, at 8.30am for St Julian’s parish church where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 9am, followed by interment at Qrendi cemetery. People are invited not to wear black and possibly get a battery candle.
