The following are the top stories in the Maltese newspapers today.

Times of Malta reports that Air Malta pilots want their salaries to match those of the pilots within the Etihad Group, the company that has a 49 per cent stake in Alitalia.

In-Nazzjon reports from parliament how the government yesterday turned down an Opposition request for a postponement of a vote on changes to House Standing Orders so that further talks could be held between the two sides. 

l-orizzont says the uncle of a man accused of murdering his estranged wife has asked not to give evidence in court, despite having been the one to tip off the police. It also reports about action over an Armier 'boathouse' which also has a pool.
