The marriage took place on July 25, 1954. Fr Edgar Vella celebrated the marriage ceremony at Stella Maris parish church, Sliema. Celebrating 62 happy years blessed with two children, five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, with happy moments to treasure. Thankful to God for the gift of reaching this anniversary. Congratulations.
Obituary
CAMILLERI. On July 23, at his residence in Żurrieq, ANTHONY, aged 62, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family and comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He went to join his beloved son Stephen. He leaves to mourn his irreparable loss his wife Anette, his son Daniel and wife Annabelle, grandchildren Stephen and Martina, his siblings Josephine and Victor Borg, Canon Carmel Camilleri, Frances, Raymond and Veronica Camilleri, Laurence and Pauline Camilleri, his mother-in-law Carmen Mifsud, and in-laws Joe and Angela Mifsud, Sally and Alberto Vella, Miriam and Charles Buhagiar and John, nephews and nieces, other relatives and numerous friends. The funeral Mass will be held today, Monday, July 25, at 3.30pm at St Catherine’s parish church, Żurrieq, followed by interment at St Leon Cemetery, Żurrieq. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, and Hospice Malta, Balzan, will be greatly appreciated. May the Lord grant him eternal rest.
MIZZI. On July 22, at Mater Dei Hospital, SAVIOUR, aged 87, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his sons Dr John and his wife Danielle, Joe and his wife Josette, Charlie, and Lawrence and his wife Marcelle, his grandchildren, his brothers and sisters, in-laws, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today, Monday, July 25, at 2.15pm for St Philip parish church, Żebbuġ, where Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated at 3pm, followed by interment at San Andria Cemetery, Żebbuġ. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, would be appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
WALKER. On July 2, ELEANOR THERISA ANGEL, aged 33, passed away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her daughter, her mother Josephine, widow of Michael John, her sister Melissa and her husband Sam and their children Freddie and Jessica, her brothers Jack Allen and his girlfriend Sophia, Andy Bob Allen, her sister Beverly and her boyfriend Owen, in-laws, cousins, relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Monday, August 1, at 8.30am for St Julian’s parish church where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 9am, followed by interment at Qrendi cemetery. People are invited not to wear black and possibly get a battery candle.
