The increase in obesity levels has been somewhat alarming in the past few years – sedentary lifestyles and lack of guidance on how to create a good work-life balance are major contributing factors to this issue.

With this in mind the #foreverhealthy community was created with the aim of providing the right guidance to those wishing to adopt a healthy lifestyle but who lack the motivational and professional support to do so.

With proper guidance, the adoption of a healthy lifestyle is possible and can be tackled by introducing small changes to one’s routine.

Fitness professional Veronica Olivera, founder of VeroForma, who has developed a number of holistic programmes set to achieve a good, well-balanced, healthy lifestyle, is the driving force behind this project.

“The #foreverhealthy community was set up to give people the necessary support in their journey to fitness, weight loss and overall wellbeing so that they do not feel alone,” Ms Olivera said.

“Through experience, the major reasons for one’s inability to maintain a good lifestyle is the lack of support and motivation, and this community is all about providing the necessary forum to do so.”

The #foreverhealthy community will be meeting for the first time on Saturday from 3 to 5pm at Triq it-Torri, 65B, Birkirkara. During this time, interested parties are welcome to attend a series of free presentations and talks on how they can benefit from being part of this community. Guests will also have the opportunity to meet people who have already adopted a healthy lifestyle and are now reaping the benefits.
