The University of Malta’s Faculty of Medicine and Surgery in collaboration with the Associazione Chirurghi Ospedalieri Italiani (ACOI) is offering a new master programme in laparoscopic surgery.

The programme is offered in English on a full-time basis over one year (three semesters) and on a part-time basis over two years (six semesters), and consists of 90 ECTS credits made up as follows:

• 30 taught ECTS credits at the University;

• 30 ECTS credits in laparoscopic surgery consisting in hands-on training in specialised hospitals in Italy. Course fees do not include costs of travel and accommodation; and

• 30 ECTS dissertation.

The course will provide comprehensive theoretical and clinical training and is mainly aimed at local, Italian and other international surgeons.

Applications are open and the first deadline is August 31.
