The seminar aims to teach powerful ways to combat match-fixing, betting, and other illegal activities that damage the sport of water polo.

Speakers include WPO attorney Alessandro Oliverio, Eric Konings from Unibet, as well as representatives from the European Sport Security Association (ESSA) and Interpol.

The meeting additionally seeks to improve solidarity between water polo players across the globe. All Maltese players and related athletes are encouraged to attend.

They will work directly on this mission with several of the most well-known water polo players in the world, including Márk Kállay and Rajmund Fodor.

The seminar is taking place today at Tal-Qroqq Sports Complex between 2 and 5pm. It will be followed by a joint ASA-WPO press conference.
