Picture: Izz Krimat.Air Malta pilots in full uniform held a brief protest in Valletta this morning on their way to Court, where a judge will hear their arguments against an Air Malta request for an injunction to prevent industrial action in a pay dispute.
The Airline Pilots Association filed its reply to the Air Malta request yesterday, arguing that the airline's request was shocking and struck at the heart of the right for freedom of association. Consideration of the case starts today.
The pilots carried placards criticising the Air Malta management and saying pilots and other workers should not suffer the consequences of strategic mistakes.
