Juventus have signed Croatia winger Marko Pjaca from Dinamo Zagreb, the Serie A champions have announced, yesterday.

The 21-year-old, who made three appearances for his country at Euro 2016 and has 11 caps in all, has signed a five-year contract to complete a move worth 23 million euros (£19.2m).

Pjaca will join up with his new team-mates next week, having been granted an extended rest by coach Massimiliano Allegri following the summer’s tournament in France.

He will add an extra attacking option to a Juve squad shorn of Juan Cuadrado, following the expiration of his loan from Chelsea, and striker Alvaro Morata who returned to Real Madrid.

Pjaca, whose one international goal to date came against San Marino in June, joins Miralem Pjanic and Mario Lemina among the Bianconeri’s summer signings.
