Ramla Bay in Gozo is hosting the third edition of the Sunscape Festival this weekend.

Focusing on music, art and well-being, and featuring 60 acts, eight international artists and six live bands across three stages, Sunscape is Europe’s most intimate island festival.

This year’s event sees the participation of alternative act Congo Natty (Rebel MC) performing with his son Congo Dubz, London-based bass legends Stanton Warriors, electronic music star Maxxi Soundsystem, psychedelic guru Braincell (live and also performing as Unknown Reality DJ Set) and Solar Spectrum performing live. Top local artists Duncan F, Claytonsane, Miss Roberta and Nicky Slim will also entertain the crowds.

Attendees can interact with collaborative art installations, be themselves the canvas for a work of art or participate in surfboard yoga at sunset.

Furthermore, an idyllic giant sunflower field close by will host the ‘conscious’ area of the festival. Co-hosted by the non-governmental organisation Why Not? and supported by many other associations, this is where one can attend empowering workshops, enjoy talks and meditations throughout the day and explore the carefully curated holistic area.

Therapies such as Lomi Lomi massage, reiki healing, Swedish body massage and aromatherapy massage are on offer together with sound healing, sunrise and sunset yoga, pilates, tai chi and more.

Attendees can choose from 30 workshops during the day, with an entertainment area set-up for children, healthy food provided by True Food and an overall ambience that is completely designed for healing and rebalancing oneself.

The evenings will focus on dancing under the stars just metres from the sea.
