Everyone is longing for peace. The wicked person tries to find peace in doing sin but he is going astray. Just people long for peace by obeying the law of God. We must live peace in three stages: peace with God, peace with ourselves and peace with others. If we want peace in this world we must start to have peace in our hearts. In 1980, a national magazine carried an unusual story.

A man returned to his car after shopping from a large shop and found a note with this message: “Dear Sir or Madam, I intended to steal your car until I noticed the ‘peace be with you’ sticker. It made me pause and reflect.

I reasoned, if I steal your car, you certainly would not be at peace and, on the other hand, I felt I would not be at peace either because I am doing a bad thing. This was my first job. So, peace be with you and with me. Drive carefully and, next time, lock your car.”

The note was signed: “A would-be car thief.”
