The University of Malta is offering a Master of Gender Studies by research and a taught Master of Gender, Society and Culture in October. The masters may be undertaken on a full-time basis or on a part-time day or evening basis.

The programmes are multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary. Participants may be graduates in any discipline, and the programmes will provide them with a solid understanding of how gender plays a significant and mainstreamed role in their particular area.

Government policy is based on gender mainstreaming, which is also important to tap into EU funds and to obtain higher visibility.

The programmes are designed to support people who wish to broaden their worldview as they build their career in government departments, ministries, agencies, NGOs or private companies.

The first application deadline is Thursday.
