The University of Malta is offering a Master of Arts in Adult Education starting in October. It is run on a three-year evening basis involving seminars, two placement periods and the writing of a dissertation.

Topics discussed during the course include international issues in adult education; adult education in Malta, socal difference issues: women, gen­der, disablity, race/ethncity/ migra­tion, older adults; prison edu­cation; curriculum develop­­­ment; technology enhanc­ed learning among adults; social media learning; adult literacy and basic education; adult education for sustainable development; global­isation and lifelong learn­ing; work and adult education; health edu­cation; training needs and man­agement; continuous profes­sional development; work­ing with adults; community education; virtual adult learning communities; workplace learning; learning and micro-enterprises; and research methods.

This course is open to graduates a good first degree in any disicipline.
