With reference to Charles Pace’s letter ‘A personal appeal to the PM’, it was reported that Joseph Muscat told Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico the real problem of future immigration is not that they keep coming but the fact that they will change the character of the country.

How very true. Wise and prophetic words.

Now that the talking point is again the morning after pill and the bishops having expressed their opinion about it, may I remind our parliamentarians that certain Bills to be discussed in the future can be more damaging than that immigration issue with regard the ethical heritage of our country if not diligently fine-tuned in line with the recommendations of the Church.

Someone tell me, please, what more can we do to prevent such a fatuous situation occurring again? This would further crack our ‘treasures in vessels of clay’ (our millennial faith).
