Reuben Sciberras (July 11) chose to dedicate the main thrust of his response to my original piece on the Industrial Tribunal by attributing to me misogynistic and homophobic qualities.

This is rich, coming from the mouthpiece of Minister Helena Dalli, who chooses to remain silent in the face of overt homophobic insults spewed on a blog that is produced within Castille. Her reticence, while shameful, is understandable considering it is Her Master’s Voice who is responsible for the blog.

Insofar as concerns Sciberras’s (non-) response to the technical issues I raised, forgive me for being less than impressed by his litany of the people who were consulted.

I prefer to rely on the responses of my colleagues in the sector who are pretty consistent in their failure to see what has been changed in principle.

The Industrial Tribunal remains constitutionally suspect, however much Sciberras and his minister choose to insult me for saying so.
