The following are the top stories in the Maltese newspapers today.

Times of Malta says its Freedom of Information Act request for information on the exchanges leading to a State guarantee for the new power station was rejected because it “could reasonably be expected to have a substantial adverse effect on the ability of the government to manage the Maltese economy”. 

l-orizzont and The Malta Independent lead with the arraignment yesterday of Andrew Mangion, accused of the murder of his young wife. The news is also given prominence in the other newspapers. 

In-Nazzjon says Air Malta workers are facing uncertainty and the airline is still without a business plan.
