Simon Busuttil has compared Joseph Muscat to Nigel Farage because the Prime Minister said he is a Euro-realist, a term used by many politicians in Europe who are not dazzled by the stars on the EU flag and, hence, are in a position to base their conclusions on facts and not on myths. By doing so, Busuttil has again proven he believes in the EU becoming a federal super State. In fact, he already indicated this  quite recently.

Only the EU elite and those living in denial of what European peoples are saying about the EU project make the same argument used by the leader of the Opposition.

Well, what can one expect from the same person who, in his younger days, was a top official of the European Movement, the propaganda arm of the EU? He should have realised by now he, and those who believe like him in Europe, form part of a very small minority. Not only does the EU not need further integration but it needs to start giving certain powers back to national governments.
