ATTARD. On July 9, CARMELA, of Cospicua, residing in Paola, aged 85, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Raymond and his wife Sandra, Alfred and his wife Rita, Charles and his wife Marygrace, her grandchildren Duncan, Chantelle, Matthew and his wife Claudia, Daniel, James and Gabriel, other relatives and friends. The funeral cortège leaves St Vincent de Paul Residence tomorrow, Monday, June 11 at 1.30pm for St Anthony church, Għajn Dwieli, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 2pm, followed by interment at Qrendi Cemetery. FENECH GASAN. MARIE-LOUISE, 12 weeks after the death of her husband Ray, on July 8, at Capua Hospital, aged 75, after a short illness borne with Christian fortitude, went to meet the Risen Lord comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her great loss her children Roberta and her husband Dr Ramon Tonna, Angela and her husband Christian Mifsud and Richard and his wife Alison née Attard, her grandchildren Philippa and her fiancé Gin Micallef, Raphael, Julian, Francesca, Amy and Robert, her brother Anton Debono and his wife Marilyn (of Canada), Rosanne Gouder, Paul Debono and his wife Tanya, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves St James Hospital tomorrow, Monday, July 11, at 1.45pm for Stella Maris parish church, Sliema, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 2pm followed by interment at Santa Marija Addolorata Cemetery. MIFSUD. On July 8, at Mater Dei Hospital, ANTOINE, of Sliema, passed peacefully away at the age of 86, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He went to meet his beloved son Remò. He will be deeply mourned and missed by his devoted wife Marie Louise née Pace Floridia, his treasured children Marie Therese, Joseph and Jackie, Lucienne and Alexander, his cherished grandchildren Rachel and James, Kyra and Gareth, and Gloria, his darling great-grandchildren Maya, Ben, Nick, Thom and Amy, his brothers and sister, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Wednesday at 1.30pm for Stella Maris parish church, Sliema, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 2pm, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. SANT. On July 8, at Mater Dei Hospital, MONICA, née Zammit, passed peacefully away, comforted by the rites of Holy Church, after eight long years of illness borne with strength, courage and dignity. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband Michael, her children Michelle and her husband Jeremy de Maria, Mireille and her husband Peter Pace Ross, and Marc and her beloved grandchildren Hannah, Luke, Nick, John, Sam, Christina and Megan. She is also mourned by her brothers and sisters, in-laws, other rela­tives and friends and the Lija parish community. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 8am for Lija parish church where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 8.30am, followed by interment at Lija cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Puttinu Cares Children’s Cancer Support Group, Rainbow Ward, Mater Dei Hospital, and Hospice Malta, Balzan, will be appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest. The family would like to thank the staff at Sir Anthony Mamo Oncology Centre for their support during all these years and staff at Medical Ward 2 at Mater Dei Hospital for their dedication during her last days.

On July 8, at Sir Anthony Mamo Oncology Centre at Mater Dei Hospital, ANNA, née Aquilina, aged 64, of Mellieħa, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church and surrounded by her family. Dearly missed and never forgotten by her beloved husband John, her beloved children Roberta and her husband Michele Milano, Mark and his wife Joanne and Simon and his wife Arlette, her grandchildren Andrea and Elisa, her mother Carmena, widow of Bartolomeo Aquilina, her brothers and sisters, in-laws, their families, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow, Monday, July 11, at 2.30pm for the Nativity of the Virgin Mary parish church, Mellieħa, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 3.30pm followed by interment at Queen of Victories cemetery, Mellieħa.
