Identical twin sisters gave birth on the same day, at the same time, in different US time zones.

Leah Rodgers delivered son Reid Joseph at 1.18am Mountain time in Denver, and an hour later, Sarah Mariuz gave birth to daughter Samantha Lynne at 1.18am Pacific time in La Jolla, California.

The 35-year-old sisters had not planned to be pregnant at the same time but ended up with due dates four days apart. The families are believed to be trying to work out a time to visit each other.
