A car went up in flames in a Tarxien street last night.

The car is believed to have been parked at the end of Triq Pietro Gagliardi when it caught fire at around 10.20pm, sources said.

Nobody was hurt and the flames were put out by firefighters that rushed to the street. Police sources said they were not suspecting foul play at this point in time.

The above video was sent to Times of Malta by a witness at the scene. In it, a fire engine can be seen arriving as the car blazes on the side of the road.
