A group of Iraqi students spent a week in Gozo as guests of the Nadur community in a diocesan project called Merħba.

As part of the activities organised for the group, Nadur vice parish priest Fr Joseph Curmi, together with archpriest Mgr Jimmy Xerri, celebrated Mass for the Iraqis and the parish youths last Sunday.

The youths, accommodated at a Curia apartment in Marsalforn, were also entertained to lunch, together with Nadur youths.

The Merħba project was launched by the Gozo Diocese and the Gozo Anglican community.
