Mcast students are leaving their mark at the Institute of Creative Arts with their designs, photographs, clothing and 3D models, among others.

It is the time of the year when students reach the end of their scholastic days and have something to showcase for all their hard work.

The Creative Arts End-of-Year Exhibition, launched yesterday at Tarġa Gap has 11 stands with works from the different departments at the institute, namely the fine arts, design, photography, media, game art, graphic design, performing arts and interactive media.

The institute has been transformed into an artistic hub, and the displayed work was completed by students from different years and from foundation to degree courses.

The institute will be hosting planned interactive events

For the first time this year, each evening will be dedicated to a particular department. The institute will be hosting planned interactive events each evening, such as networking sessions with representatives from the creative arts industry, workshops, conferences, performances and public lectures by local and international experts.

Aptly called Leave a Mark, the exhibition provides the students with a space where they can artistically mark their growth through their medium of choice.

It follows another expo by the Malta College of Arts Science and Technology, held over three days last week, aimed at offering visitors a taste of the college’s learning experience.

The Leave a Mark exhibition will remain open until Tuesday between 9am and 10pm and anyone who drops by can leave their own mark on a large scribble board, purposely installed for the event.
