The Nationalist Party has again called on the government to publish all contracts related to the privatisation of government hospitals.
In a statement, the party referred to media reports, particularly in Times of Malta, and said government explanations or denials were weak and the government's failure to publish related documents fueled uncertainty and suspicion of corruption.
The PN recalled that the contracts were negotiated by minister Konrad Mizzi and chief of staff Keith Schembri at a time when the people were protesting over the way they had set up secret companies in Panama and trusts in New Zealand, while trying to open secret bank accounts across the world 'for brokerage services'.
