Tomorrow, the Composer Speaks Series will feature Maltese composer Albert Pace, after which the debutants’ concert featuring saxophonist Valentina Rapa, male alto Karl Schembri and pianist Daphne Delicata, will be held at the Aula Mgr G. Farrugia.

Also at the aula, Taiwanese prize-winning pianist Chiu Yu Chen will give a recital of works by Mozart, Dvořák and Schumann on Thursday.

At St George’s Basilica on Friday, the much-anticipated return of the world-famous Martinu Quartet, comprised of Lubomir Havlak, Libor Kanka (violin), Zbynek Padourek (viola) and Jitka Vlasanková (violoncello), will regale the audience with Haydn’s Quartet Op. 20 No. 3 Hob III:33 (Sun), Mendelssohn’s Capriccio Op. 81 No. 3 and Dvořák’s Quartet in E Minor Op. 80.

All concerts start at 8pm.
