Rapper Kanye West has stirred up controversy with his new music video, Famous, which includes nude portrayals of high-profile celebrities.

The not-safe-for-work video features celebrities, such as former US President George W. Bush, Taylor Swift, Kim Kardashian, Vogue editor Anna Wintour, Rihanna, Bill Cosby and Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump, lying on a bed, twisted in sheets.

The video is inspired by Vincent Desiderio’s 2008 painting Sleep.
According to Vanity Fair, it is not known if the portrayals of celebrities are made digitally, although in some cases it seems to be the actual celebrity posing.

“It’s not in support or anti any of [the people in the video],” West told Vanity Fair. “It’s a comment on fame.”

The representatives of rapper West, Kardashian, Cosby and Trump declined to comment on the video, according to Reuters. Representatives of the other celebrities did not immediately respond request for comments.

It isn't the first time Famous has made headlines. Earlier this year, West’s lyrics allegedly upset singer Taylor Swift, who has a complicated relationship with West. The lyrics say "I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex, I made that b--ch famous."

West claimed Swift had approved the lyrics, saying it was funny, but the pop singer’s representatives said Swift was not aware of the lyric and she would have never have approved such a misogynist line.

The feud between the two artists started when West famously interrupted Swift's acceptance speech at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards, snatching her microphone and award out of her hand.
