A shopping centre just minutes away from where England and Iceland are due to play their Euro 2016 final 16 game tonight has been evacuated after the discovery of a suspicious package.

Reports in the French media said police had ordered the evacuation of Nice's Lingostière centre after a cashier found a suspicious package at the shopping mall entrance. Other news sites described the package as a 'bag with gas cylinders and detonator'.

An estimated 2,000 people have been evacuated from the site.

England and Iceland are scheduled to play each other at 9pm this evening.
