I appreciated the excellent article in Monday’s paper about the problems of spelling.

It was most illuminating and may even have helped me with what has seemed a considerable conundrum.

I often read in this newspaper that requested information is being withheld due to matters of commercial ‘sensitivity’ but given that such information often relates to public tenders, there ought to be little or nothing that is sufficiently sensitive to warrant non-publication.

Perhaps it is simply the spelling that is faulty and‘commercial’ should actually read ‘corruption’.

That would certainly seem to fit better.
