• The feast of St John the Baptist will be celebrated today in Xewkija. Gozo Bishop Mario Grech will lead a concelebrated Mass at 8.45am. The Duke of Connaught’s Own Band of Birkirkara will perform marches in streets of Xewkija at 11.30am. Archpriest Daniel Xerri will lead a concelebrated Mass at 6.15pm, followed by a procession with the statue of the saint at 7.45pm, accompanied by Precursor Band. La Stella Band will also participate.

• Oasi Foundation will hold a commemorative and thanksgiving celebration today at 10.30am at the Oasi centre, Victoria, to mark its 25th anniversary.

• A Bible study meeting will be held tomorrow at 7.30pm at St Anthony church, Għajnsielem. All are welcome.

• The liturgical feast of St Peter and St Paul will be celebrated on Wednesday at Nadur basilica. Bishop Mario Grech will lead a concelebrated Mass at 9am. Santa Elena Band of Birkirkara and San Gejtanu Band of Ħamrun will perform marches at 11.30am. A procession with the statue of the saints starts at 8pm and ends at 10.45pm.

• MUSEUM superior Joe Fenech will hold a prayer and catechesis meeting at Our Lady of Pompeii church, Victoria, on Thursday from 10 to 11am. All are invited.

• Fr Marcello Ghirlando will celebrate a healing Mass at St Anthony Church, Għajnsielem, on Thursday at 7pm. Singer Mario Caruana will animate the celebration. There will be adoration of the Blessed Sacrament from 6 to 7pm. All are welcome to attend.

• ‘Privacy in Cyberspace’ is the title of a talk by Dr Jean Buttigieg on Friday at 7.30pm at Circolo Gozitano, 6, Sir Adrian Dingli Street, Victoria. The talk, organised by Philosophy Sharing Gozo, will delve into the ways in which privacy might be compromised online and why this should, or should not, matter. The talk will be delivered in English. Entrance is free.

• The diocesan Eucharistic Movement will hold a prayer evening at Savina church, Victoria, on Saturday at 8.30pm, followed by Mass at midnight.

• The Gozo Football Summer Club will be held in July and August for children aged four to 13. Sessions will be led by qualified coaches on Wednesdays at 5.30pm at the Boys Secondary School ground, Victoria.
