A relic of the arm of St George held at Ferrara Cathedral in Italy was brought to Malta for festivities marking the 275th anniversary of the titular statue of Qormi parish church. On its arrival at Malta International Airport it was first brought over to St George’s basilica, Victoria. It was also taken to Gozo General Hospital and Victoria primary school, where Mgr Ġużeppi Gauci shared reflections about the relic. Photo shows Mgr Gauci at the school holding the relic surrounded by children wearing colourful festa T-shirts.
