Redmond: Nathan Redmond has joined managerless Southampton from relegated Norwich City in what is believed to be a £10 million deal. Despite being without a manager following Ronald Koeman’s exit to Everton last week, Saints have moved to make the England Under-21s international their first signing of the summer. Redmond, a long-time target of the club, has penned a five-year deal at St Mary’s. “I’m really pleased to have made the move to Southampton,” Redmond said.

Glik: Torino defender Kamil Glik is being linked with a transfer to AS Monaco. Sky Sport Italia reported yesterday that negotiations are in an advanced stage and that the fee will be €11.5m. The centre-half will earn €2m per season on a five-year deal. Glik is currently in the Poland squad at the Euro 2016.

Janssen: Tottenham are weighing up an improved offer for Vincent Janssen after AZ Alkmaar rejected a bid for the striker. Spurs made an offer of around £11m but the Dutch club are holding out for closer to £17m. Tottenham are understood to have agreed personal terms with Janssen and are expected to come back with another bid. Wolfsburg have also expressed an interest to AZ and have spoken to the 22-year-old, but they are yet to rival Tottenham with an official offer.

Alvarez: Ricky Alvarez has ex-tended his contract at Sampdoria until June 2019, the Serie A club announced. The former Inter midfielder, who also had a stint in the Premier League with Sunderland, joined Sampdoria in January and managed 13 appearances until the end of the season. Before the move he won the right to become a free agent following a legal battle bet-ween Inter and Sunderland.

Nolito: Spain striker Nolito denied rumours he has already sealed his move to Manchester City. New City boss Pep Guardiola is believed to be keen on the transfer of Celta Vigo’s Nolito after the signing of Ilkay Gundogan. “We’ll see what happens with my future, but I won’t complain about how things are going for me sportingly,” Nolito said. “For now, I haven’t signed with Manchester City, but I won’t lie so we’ll see. I haven’t spoken to Guardiola.”
