They serenaded a French woman in Bordeaux... despite losing 3-0 to Belgium.

They danced with Swedish supporters ahead of their first round clash.

They sang to the police with their version of "Stand up for the French police" after they were urged to go home after a night of drinking.

And in the latest clip going viral on social media, Irish soccer fans are seen serenading a French police woman before the Italy match in Lille.

Ireland beat the Italians with a last-gasp goal to book a place in the last 16.

Whereas the thought of hordes of soccer fans descending on foreign towns can conjure up shudders, the green-clad Ireland supporters are leading something of a charm offensive.

The Irish fans made friends wherever they went, notably on a train, where they sang lullabies to a baby while otherwise trying to keep the noise down.
