These are the main stories featured in today's Maltese newspapers:

Times of Malta reports that the allegations of fraud made against deputy governor Alfred Mifsud are expected to be discussed during a meeting of the Central Bank's board of directors. 

In-Nazzjon reports the Nationalist Party deputy leader saying that Mr Mifsud shoud suspend himself from his post at CBM in the wake of claims of fraud. 

The Malta Independent quotes the Office of the Prime Minister that it is not within the government's remit to call on Mr Mifsud to step down. It also says that the government is reconsidering the monti stalls design. 

L-oriżżont says a number of people were summoned by the police to investigate the case against Nationalist MP Toni Bezzina. It also shows a picture of rescuers airlifting a man who fell off the Mistra cliffs.
