The government will continue to help the Mariam Al Batool Muslim school which was currently facing financial problems, Prime Minister Joseph Muscat promised this evening.

He was addressing the Muslim Community at the Labour Party’s headquarters in Ħamrun on the occasion of the breaking of the fast.

Dr Muscat said that all parties involved should work together to ensure that the school had a future.

Imam Mohammed El Sadi recalled that the mosque in Paola had been built and the school licenced during a Labour government. He thanked the Prime Minister for his help and availability to the community.
