Juventus star Paulo Dybala was given a rapturous welcome by enthusiastic children at the Don Bosco Home in Sliema this afternoon.

Dybala, 22, gracefully signed autographs and posed for photos to the palpable delight of President Marie-Louise Coleiro Preca while her aides were on hand to distribute commemorative T-shirts.

Widely regarded as one of the most exciting youngsters in world football, Dybala began a two-day visit to Malta today after accepting the President's invitation to support the Community Chest Fund.

In exclusive comments to www.timesofmalta.com, Dybala said he was pleased to do his part to bring happiness to children in need.

Dybala, who helped Juventus win a Serie A and Coppa Italia double in his first year with the Turin club, was also delighted to see many kids wearing Juve shirts.

"The Juventus fans give us strength," Dybala said.

Tomorrow evening, Dybala will be the guest of honour at a special dinner being held at the Verdala Palace with all proceeds going to the Community Chest Fund.
