Malta University Consulting Ltd is organising a basic course in Food and Technology: Understanding food products and ingredient labels. This course is spread over three sessions and is scheduled for the end of June. Lectures will take place at the University Residence, Robert Mifsud Bonnici, Street, Lija.

This three-day course is aimed for professionals in food marketing, parents, food purchasers, homemade-food shop owners, and startups, and offers guidance through the general food composition and explain the elements that comprise foods, such as proteins, fats and carbohydrates.

The course tutor and co-ordinator is Jeanette Cameron-Traag, a food technologist and lecturer at the University of Malta.
