Under the leadership of chief executive officer Andrew Beane, HSBC Bank Malta has announced the appointment of its new executive management team, comprising some of the banking industry’s foremost professionals, representing a mix of Maltese and international talent.
The leadership team, nine of whom have joined the executive committee since November 2015, are focused on supporting economic growth in the country by improving customer service and engaging the talented workforce at thebank.
“We have a clear strategy to be the bank of choice for customers in Malta,” Mr Beane said.
HSBC Bank Malta’s executive committee is comprised of: Andrew Beane, chief executive officer; Nikolaos Fertakis, chief operating officer; Rashid Daurov, chief financial officer; Joyce Grech,chief risk officer; Daniel Robinson, head of retail banking and wealth management; Michel Cordina, head of commercial banking; Irina Seylanyan, head of global banking and markets; Gareth Williams, head of human resources; Anna Camilleri, head of internal audit; Philip Head, head of financial crime compliance; Peter May, head of financial crime compliance transformation; Anthony Abela, head of regulatory compliance; Joseph Sammut, general counsel; George Brancaleone, company secretary; and Franco Aloisio, head of communications.
