Eight members of the Dental Association of Malta attended a nine-day continuous professional development programme on occlusion and temporo-mandibular disorders run by academics from the La Sapienza University’ dental department in Rome. They also attended the annual congress of aesthetic dentistry hosted by the Italian Association of Conservative Dentistry (Sidoc) and were taken on guided tours of Rome, Vatican City and Tivoli. The members were accompanied by Dr Noel Manche and Dr Nicholas Busuttil Dougall from the local dental association and officials from its Italian partners. The programme was funded by the European Commission under the Erasmusplus Key Action 1.
