A 22-year-old German woman on holiday in Gozo is in critical condition after she fell from a height of around two storeys.

The woman was at a convent in St Augustine Square, Victoria when the accident happened at around 6.30am.

She was taken to Gozo General Hospital by ambulance and transferred to Mater Dei Hospital.

An inquiry is being held.
